15th Annual Dazzling Dahlia Festival

Highlands Historical Society’s 15th Annual Dazzling Dahlia Festival is coming! Festivities will kick off Thursday September 4th at the Bascom with a dahlia poster party from 5:00-6:30 pm. You can enjoy lite bites, complimentary wine and signature dahlia cocktails. On Friday, September 5th bring your individual dahlia stems to the Bascom between 8:00-11:00 am to enter the Dahlia Single Bloom contest. The Single Bloom show will be open to the public Friday from 1-4 and Saturday 10-4. Saturday September 6th, Highlands will transform into a floral wonderland as “FLOWER POWER” takes over. Follow the festival map to visit all the dazzling vignettes and vote for your favorites. Highlands Historical Village will host bluegrass, storytelling, clogging, food and docent guided tours Saturday from 10-4. This free event is sponsored by Highlands Historical Society, Visit Highlands and the Bascom.
